Base-free oxidative homocoupling reaction of arylboronic esters has been found to proceed using a catalytic amount of a palladium-1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (DPPP) complex under an oxygen atmosphere, affording a variety of biaryls in modest to excellent yields. A novel quarterwave-thick narrow-bandwidth antireflective coating has been developed for both plastic and vitreous substrates by a sol-gel route. This coating has revealed pronounced scratch- and climatic-resistance under adverse conditions. The single-layer coating consists basically of a composite material made of silica as the discontinuous phase and of a polytetrafluoroethylene-derived (Teflon1) organic polymer as the continuous phase. This leads to fluorine-containing colloidal silica product, or a so-called Flucosil coating. The coating is applied by spinning or dipping from specific solutions at room temperature followed by a mild and short heat treatment. In addition to remarkable abrasion and environmental resistance properties, such coatings have displayed excellent laser-induced damage threshold levels, surpassing uncoated substrates.We hope such a product might open new perspectives concerning household articles, architectural optical thin-films, ophthalmic uses, and so on.  相似文献

In the absence of ligand, copper and amine, a recoverable nanoparticle palladium(0) catalyzed Sonogashira reaction of aryl iodides and bromides with terminal alkynes was developed. The protocol involved the use of an environmental-friendly reaction system with ethanol as the solvent, potassium carbonate as a base, and poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) supported nanosized palladium metal colloids as the catalyst. The palladium metal was recovered and recycled by a simple decantation of the reaction solution and used for eight consecutive trials without significant loss of its reactivity.  相似文献

The reduction of palladium(ii) carboxylates Pd3(OCOR)6 (R = Me, Et, CHMe2, CMe3) with hydrogen in alcohol solutions containing 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and subsequent oxidation with oxygen gave new palladium nanoclusters, mainly particles with a nearly spherical metal core and an average size of 18 . Based on elemental analysis, NMR, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and EXAFS, nanoclusters were described by the idealized formula Pd147phen32O60(OCOR)30. The specimens contained up to 25% smaller 55-atomic Pd clusters with a 10 metal core. New nanoclusters catalyze hydrogenation of alkynes and alkenes, reduction of nitriles with formic acid, oxidation of aliphatic and benzylic alcohols, oxidative esterification of ethylene and propylene, and disproportionation of benzyl alcohol into toluene and benzaldehyde.  相似文献

A novel polyacrylaminothiourea chelating fiber was synthesized simply and rapidly from nitrilon (an acrylonitrile-based synthetic fiber), which was applied to preconcentrate and separate of trace amount of Au(Ⅲ),Pt(Ⅳ),Pd(Ⅳ) and Ir (Ⅳ) ions from solution of samples.The analyzed ions can be quantitatively concentrated by the fiber up to a flow rate of 20.0mL/min at pH2, and can also be desorbed with 15 mL of 4mol/L HCl 3% thiourea from the fiber column with recoveries of 96.5%-100%.The chelating fiber can be reused for ten times,the recoveries of these ions are still over 92%,and hundred to thousand times of excess of Fe(Ⅲ),Al(Ⅲ),Ca(Ⅱ),Mg(Ⅱ),Ni(Ⅱ),Mn(Ⅱ),Cu(Ⅱ),Zn(Ⅱ),and Cd(Ⅱ) cause no interference on the determination of the analyzed ions by inductively-coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES).The static saturation adsorption capacities of the fiber for the analytes are in the range of 1.15-2.80mmol/g.The relative standard deviations for the determination of 20.0ng/mL each of Au(Ⅲ),Pt(Ⅳ),Pd(Ⅳ)and Ir(Ⅳ) are in the range of 0.7%-3.0%.The recoveries for test from standard additions to real solution samples are between 96% and 100%.The concentration of each ion in powder sample detected by the method is in good agreement with the certified value.  相似文献

The carboxylation of styrene into carboxylic acids in the N(C4H9)4Br—heptane system in the presence of phosphine complexes and palladium acetate was studied. In the absence of phosphine, the Pd catalyst seems to be stabilized in solution by forming anionic complexes with NBu4Br; the stabilization depends on the acidity of the reaction medium. The activity and thermal stability of Pd/Al_2O_3 and Pd/(Al_2O_3 MO_x)(M=Ca,La,Ce) palladium catalysts in the reaction of complete oxidation of methane are presented in this study.The catalyst supports were prepared by sol-gel method and they were dried either conventionally or with supercritical carbon dioxide.Then they were impregnated with palladium nitrate solution.The catalysts with unmodified alumina had a high surface area.The activity and thermal stability of the alumina- supported catalyst was also very high.The introduction of calcium,lanthanum,or cerium oxide into alumina support caused a decrease of the surface area in the way dependent on the support precursor drying method.These modifiers decreased the activity of palladium catalysts,and they required higher temperatures for the complete oxidation of methane than unmodified Pd/Al_2O_3.The improvement of the palladium activity by lanthanum and cerium support modifier was observed only at low temperatures of the reaction.  相似文献
